Supervisory Aviation Technical Systems Specialist (District Manager)

Summary Serves as District Manager (DM) with line of authority for overseeing and directing technical operations within one of the multiple Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations (AJW) Districts. Functions as the principal advisor for respective District operations and reports to the Service Area Deputy Director of Technical Operations. Responsibilities Directs a highly technical and diverse workforce in ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of National Airspace System (NAS) equipment and facilities. Incumbent will have day-to-day direction over 3-5 subordinate managers as well as functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel. Interfaces with management across multiple organizational units and integrates projects/programs across multiple service units.
