SUPERVISORY CIVIL ENGINEER

Summary About the Position: Serves as Chief of the Geotechnical Branch, Foundations & Dams Section. Responsibilities Investigate subsurface conditions to be utilized in the design of embankments, foundations, and pavements. Develop design criteria for embankments, foundations, and pavements of a wide variety of structures and facilities. Perform the full range of supervisory duties and personnel management functions as Chief. Plan, direct, and coordinate the design of airfield and vehicular pavements and foundations.
