The position involves serving as a Unit Chief within the Civil Section, working under the general supervision of Chief, Civil Section, Design Branch, Engineering Division. Responsible for the engineering and design support of civil works projects Responsibilities Lead and manage an inclusive, diverse workforce in a manner that leverages the talents of each employee Perform personnel management functions to guide, direct, and evaluate the technical efforts and work products produced by subordinates Apply a comprehensive knowledge of professional civil engineering principles, theories, and methodologies to a variety of complex projects Prepare, manage, and execute budgets utilizing sound business, technical, and financial management principles Identify aggressive, executable plans to achieve District and Regional goals and objectives.
