Supervisory Commissary Management Specialist (Zone Manager)

Summary Serves as a Supervisory Commissary Management Specialist (Zone Manager). Manages the overall activities and functions of the Defense Commissary Agency's (DeCA) commissaries within a designated Zone. Directs a highly complex operating program that provides continuing supervision and consulting services to senior managers of assigned commissaries. Serves as the field expert, troubleshooter, and supervisor for a group of Commissary Officers at the GS-11 through GS-14 levels. Responsibilities Manages overall activities and functions of multiple commissaries within a zone ensuring compliance with directive, programs and policies. Plans, organizes, directs, staff, carries out, reviews and evaluates a positive management-oriented commissary operations program.
