Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist

Summary This position is located in the Near Eastern Affairs Division (NEA), Office of Intelligence and Threat Analysis (ITA), Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis (TIA), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS). ITA serves as the Department's principal authority for all source intelligence analysis concerning threats of terrorism, political violence, and targeted crime against U.S. diplomatic missions, personnel, DS protected dignitaries and assets, and wider U.S. interests overseas. Responsibilities Provides direct supervision to subordinate staff and oversees the work, either directly or through GS-14 Team Leads, in a matrixed structure that includes civil service intelligence research and contract personnel.
