Summary This position is located in the DEA, Intelligence Division, Office of Special Intelligence, Mexico, Canada & Central America Intelligence Support Unit, (NSIA), in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities As a your typical work assignments may include: Plans and directs the activities of staff in the collection, evaluation, production and dissemination of drug law enforcement intelligence. Oversees and plans the operations of an intelligence program with worldwide implications. Assesses unforeseen developments, new phenomena, and difficulties encountered. Initiates, plans, and evaluates broad and comprehensive research and analysis programs, procedures, and policies. Prepares and presents briefings to high-level federal, state, and local law enforcement representatives and to foreign dignitaries in regards to difficult, complex, and controversial drug trafficking issues.
