SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to develop, deliver, and sustain an affordable and effective 5th generation strike fighter to protect future generations worldwide. The Directorate of Enterprise Services Acquisition (DESA) serves the JPO through gathering of requirements, execution of technical evaluations, resolution of administrative issues delegated by the Procuring Contacting Officer (PCO), and oversight of contractor performance. Responsibilities Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Mentors, motivates, and develops subordinate personnel to assist those individuals to learn additional skills and understanding of both mandatory guidance, as well as the interpersonal skills needed for successful performance in a complex and matrixed organizational environment.
