Supervisory Nurse

Summary This position is located in the Health Care Services, Nursing Service. The primary purpose is to assist the Supervisory Clinical Nurses in managing and directing nursing care required for off tours of duty acting as the nurse supervisor and resource person to all areas (Long Term Care, Memory Support, Assisted Living, Independent Living Plus and Independent Living). Responsibilities As a Supervisory Nurse, you will: Ensure comprehensive nursing care activities utilizing the nursing process is followed and provides staff supervision and evaluation of nursing care provided during assigned tour of duty. Provide professional and administrative direction, guidance, and support in implementation of the nursing process and programs. Act as the clinical resource nurse. Participate in formulating, enforcing, and interpreting of AFRH and healthcare policies and regulations.
