Responsibilities Provides enterprise-wide integration support for business requirements, manpower management operations, and special projects for the DLA Chief of Staff Portfolio. Directs the accomplishments of sourcing activities through a subordinate staff of professional and technical positions. Completes market research to develop requirements for prime vendor arrangements, corporate contracts, and other very complex long-term contracts (LTCs) Long-Term Contracts to include Prime Vendor arrangements. Identifies key contract process, discovers systemic issues, and recommends solutions. Serves as the principal liaison between HQ DLA and other MSC/D/J codes and policy communities on very Complex and highly visible issues. Assists with identifying the best sourcing strategy for an item, including the use of long-term contracts, Strategic Supplier Relationships, and other contracting vehicles.
