SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Atlantic Ops Directorate of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Initial consideration for this announcement is limited to the number of applications listed at the top of this announcement. Responsibilities You will directly supervise 3-4 first level STAAT detachment supervisors (who are Supervisory Security Specialists, GS-0080). You will directly supervise 2-3 desk officers (who are Security Specialists, GS-0080). You will supervise an Administrative Officer (GS-0341) who heads a small administrative staff. Each STAAT detachment consists of 2 or 3 to 5 nonsupervisory Security Specialists (GS-0080) and 2-5 US Navy military personnel. You will develop, recommend, and approve performance standards.
