Supervisory Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

Summary The incumbent of this position will serve as a Supervisory Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Division in the Boston Regional Office. The position supervises VR&E staff and is responsible for the administration and workflow of the division. The incumbent exercises technical and oversight responsibility for subordinate employees for the VR&E Division. Responsibilities Major Duties: Serves as a first level supervisor for VR&E personnel located at the Boston Regional Office or out based facility, providing advice and guidance on unusual or unprecedented problems. Responsible for interviewing and recommending applicants to the VR&E Officer. Trains and monitors performance of employees within the unit.
