Opportunity Description
Create a partnership with internal customers to assure products delivered by suppliers meet the defined specifications and are able to run through our production lines with the best possible performance, minimizing scrap and downtime while maximizing FTT and labor efficiency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop and maintain SQ procedures that support IATF16949 requirements. Achieve a status of zero defects with materials and components delivered by suppliers.
+ Provide support to the production lines on issues related to quality of raw material – Material out of specification, material with a poor performance in the line, etc.
+ Coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and review their proposed plans (example - 8D’s, control plans, FMEA’s, process flow diagrams, etc.).
+ Track supplier performance based on quality scores – supplier incidences and PPM’s.
