Summary This SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC position, is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility??????? and is part of the CA FMS 25 Fresno. Responsibilities THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION. Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, WG-5801-10, is to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and/or overhaul of a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment.
