Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Reston, VA at a hospital where you will function as a member of the cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and organizing instruments and supplies, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent certification.
• Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent CST credential.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience with cardiac surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and intraoperative equipment used in CVOR procedures.
