Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

Reid Health is seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons for upcoming locum coverage. This is a hands-on role with surgical, rounding, and call responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to support a strong community-based program.

Assignment Dates (must cover all) with opportunity for more sporadic/vacation dates in 2026:

• Orientation: Wednesday, Nov 12, 2025 (7:30 AM 5:00 PM)

• Coverage Block 1: Nov 13 (7 AM) Nov 18 (7 AM)

• Coverage Block 2: Jan 8, 2026 (7 AM) Jan 13, 2026 (7 AM)
  

Role Overview:

• Morning: Surgical time

• Afternoon: Office hours

• Rounding & ICU post-op oversight (2 5 patients at a time)

• Call: Cath Lab, Inpatient, ER; urgent CABG/AVR procedures if needed
