Schedule & Setting

• Monday Friday
• No required call
• Optional call available
• Mix of OR support, inpatient rounding, and perioperative patient care

Patient Volume & Case Mix

• Approximately 5 7 surgeries per week
• Case mix includes:
• 80% Spine Surgery
• 20% Cranial Neurosurgery
• Patient census varies based on elective surgery schedule
• ICU patients typically managed through consult service

Clinical Responsibilities

• First assist in neurosurgical procedures
• Assist with spine and cranial surgical cases
• Perform minor bedside procedures including wound suturing and wound aspirations
