Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Seeking an NP or PA for locum coverage in the Pediatric Neurosurgery Department . This role involves assisting in the operating room , providing inpatient and outpatient care, and coordinating surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surgical Assistance: Assist in emergent and scheduled procedures , including:
• Craniotomy
• External Ventricular Drain (EVD) placement
• VP shunt revision
• Myelomeningocele repair
• Tumor biopsy/resection
• Wound revision
• Bedside Procedures: Perform CSF sampling from EVD, VP shunt tapping, dressing changes, suture/staple removals, and drain removals .
