Per Diem Surgical Oncologist / Colorectal Surgeon

Location: Southern California
Duration: December 1 March 31

Schedule:

• Weekend call coverage: 2 weekends/month through January, 1 weekend/month February March

• Shift: Friday 7 PM Monday 7 AM

Scope of Practice:

• Weekend call coverage for inpatients

• Rounding on hospitalized patients

• Approximately 2 inpatient consults per day

Facility:

• Stand-alone cancer center with evaluation and treatment capabilities

• beds to start (expandable to 73), 8 ICU beds (expandable to 20), 8 ETC beds

• EPIC EMR

• Support: CRNA/MDA on call 24/7, 1 other vascular surgeon

Requirements:

• Board Certified
