Opportunity Description
Lead the regional surgical department at Fraser Health as a Regional Department Head. This role emphasizes quality, performance standards, and patient safety.
In your capacity as Regional Department Head, you will oversee medical practice standards while ensuring compliance and quality within the surgical network. Your leadership will harness collaboration among medical staff, orient new members, and facilitate effective communication to promote best practices. You'll have the chance to shape regional medical operations fundamentally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and rules
• Mentor and orient new Medical Staff members
• Support quality improvement and risk management
• Conduct departmental credentialing and operations
• Mediate disputes involving Medical Staff as needed
