UC Health is hiring a Full-time Surgical Assist (SA) to join the Operating Room at UC Medical Center. This is a 7a- 3:30p FLEX position.

The Surgical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgery The primary purpose of this position is to perform tasks which permit the surgeon to complete an efficient and safe operation.
The OR is comprised of a 60/40 mix of registered nurses and surgical technicians. The nurse's main duty is as circulators; however, they do serve as scrub persons. UCMC is a level 1 trauma center. Our OR is a 25 room OR which includes a trauma room which is open 24/7, one cysto suite, a hybrid room for endoscopic hearts and a cath lab/OR for endovascular procedures.
