Surgical Registrar: Inpatient Care & Acute Referrals

The New Zealand Government is seeking a Surgical Registrar to join the Surgical Department at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, starting from 3 August 2026. This 400-bed public facility offers a variety of acute and elective care.

The Surgical Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of inpatients under the guidance of a Consultant, with a focus on surgical problems. Applicants should have completed a relevant surgical placement and hold registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
