Surgical Technician

A Surgical Technician (Surgical Tech) is a healthcare professional who assists in the operating room by preparing sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical procedures. They maintain a sterile field, pass instruments to surgeons during operations, and ensure all tools are accounted for before, during, and after surgery. Surgical Technicians also help prepare patients for procedures and support the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow. Working closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, they play a critical role in maintaining a safe and organized surgical environment.
