**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**What you will do in this role:**
+ **The role of the OR Tech III is to assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment and supplies**
+ **The OR Tech III provides care for adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.**
+ **The surgical technologist in the first scrub role handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.**
+ **The OR Tech III understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.**
