DNV Maritime Middle East & Africa is looking for a dynamic young professional to join our team of Surveyors in Cape Town, South Africa. The position reports to the Station Manager, South Africa Operations.

Main duties & responsibilities include:

• Ship in Operation Surveys onboard mobile offshore units as well as ship‑in‑operation at shipyards and offshore locations according to rules and regulations.
• Certification and verification of material & components according to rules and specified standards.
• Effectively interact with yards, owner's representatives at the yard and manufacturers.
• Manage clients together with other relevant parts of our organization.
• Complete project‑oriented work, including cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects.
• Perform project control, reporting, and follow‑up within the due date.
