Opportunity Description
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, experienced Swimming Instructors to deliver lessons for our new swimming school programme at George Watson’s College. Instructors will plan and deliver lessons over a 6‑day period, following the Scottish Swimming learn‑to‑swim framework. There is also an opportunity to teach adult 1‑to‑1 lessons in the evenings and work additional hours delivering swim camps during the school holiday, paid at a higher rate to include holiday pay.
Main Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: 3:30 pm–6:30 pm (3 hrs)
- Saturday: 08:45 am–13:15 pm (4.5 hrs)
- Available working days: Monday‑Friday and Saturday
Hours of work are up to 19.5 hrs per week, term‑time only (36 weeks plus professional learning days). Annual leave entitlement is seven weeks per year, giving a total of 44 weeks of leave.
