Opportunity Description

Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospice is excited to announce that they will be opening a brand new shop in Swindon, located on Regent Street in Spring 2024, and the charity is seeking volunteers to help.

Our charity shops rely on volunteers throughout the week and are looking for support in the following roles:

  • Sort room support - volunteers to help in our stock room to process donations that come in, steam, tag, and prepare them for the shop floor. 
  • Cash desk - volunteers to serve customers on the tills, keep them up to date with what is happening at Julia's House, and provide assistance to customers as required.

    • We are looking for support throughout the week, Monday - Sunday. Hours are usually:

    AM Shift: Mon - Sat (9am - 1pm) Sunday (10am - 1pm)

    PM Shift: Mon - Sat (1pm - 5pm) Sunday (1pm - 4pm) 

    However, please discuss your availability with us as we like to be as flexible as we can and even a few hours each week ...
