Switchboard Operator

Band 2 - Part time 15 Hours per week

Switchboard Operators are the first point of contact to the Trust for all internal & external calls. They are responsible for reflecting a professional and knowledgeable response to all enquiries and ensuring all calls are connected to the relevant location in a timely manner.

Whilst handling a range of matters, the post holder will offer exceptional attention to, and activate Emergency procedures in a calm and effective manner.

This role will include taking and processing the calls for the portering helpdesk to ensure seamless communication for any patient moves and other important moves across the Hospital.
