System Engineer

Responsibilities: Provide support and ensure the stability of POS systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. Deliver 1st-level troubleshooting support for IT hardware and operational systems. Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Ensure servers are regularly updated with the latest security patches. Maintain, upgrade, and support existing IT infrastructure as required. Provide guidance to colleagues on best practices for system and technology usage. Execute and monitor patch management activities to ensure system security and compliance. Participate in the planning and implementation of IT systems and technologies to support future business needs. Manage relationships with key vendors and external partners. Collaborate with vendors, project leads, and end users to resolve issues and ensure sustainable solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, including purchases and leases.
