Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an System Administrator for a FULL TIME assignment with one of our premier Retail clients in White Plains, NY to support and maintain an on-site enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on building, managing, and optimizing server infrastructure, with an emphasis on automation, system deployment, and high availability. This is an onsite job (AM - PM), days per week. Responsibilities:

Build and deploy Windows servers and virtual machines from the ground up

Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and Ansible

Administer and support Windows Server environments

Configure and maintain failover clusters and high-availability systems

Support and manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and desktop infrastructure

Perform patching, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance
