System Specialist (Monitoring and Log Management)

We are now looking for a System Specialist to join our ICT‑services team at the University of Oulu. The role will play a key part in developing and maintaining the observability capabilities of our large and diverse IT environment, encompassing traditional data centres, cloud platforms and modern container‑based environments.

This position combines technical decision‑making, process development and hands‑on engineering work. Success requires a strong technical foundation, an ability to understand complex systems, and the drive to collaborate effectively across teams.
