VERTEX CONSULTANT — Configuration, Setup & Management ROLE OVERVIEW Role configuring, deploying, and managing Vertex O Series as tax rules evolve. The engagement covers the full Vertex lifecycle — from instance setup and installation through ongoing configuration and production deployments. Work is structured on a shared, part-time basis across a small consulting team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Vertex Configuration Analyze new and evolving tax rules and map them to Vertex configuration settings Configure tax rules, Boolean logic conditions, product/service taxability codes, and jurisdictional settings Translate complex tax requirements and conditional rule structures into accurate Vertex rule definitions Work with the team to validate configurations against real-world transaction scenarios Document configuration decisions, rule logic, and change rationale for audit and handoff purposes Instance Setup & Installation Lead end-to-end Vertex instance provisioning and installation (cloud-hosted ...
