Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Senior Tax Counsel / Tax Counsel** through **July 6th, 2026** at **11:59 p.m.** ( **CST** ).
The person serving in the Tax Counsel / Senior Tax Counsel position will provide tax planning advice and support on a wide variety of income and other tax matters affecting Chevron’s businesses and will report to a Houston-based General Manager in Chevron’s Corporate Tax group.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Providing tax planning advice and support for various of Chevron’s domestic and international upstream, downstream and midstream businesses, with a primary focus on U.S. federal income taxation;
+ Interfacing with other functional groups within Corporate Tax (e.g., compliance, audit support, and indirect tax), as well as the broader Finance, Treasury and Legal functions;
