Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Work with a team of individuals to provide a safe, secure, healthy environment for young children.
+ Responsible for maintaining the Head Start Standards and KY Child Care requirements.
+ Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, learning experiences, conduct developmental screening, on-going assessment, and engage families in their child's growth and development.
+ Work alongside a team of individuals with young children, including children with special needs.
+ Participate in professional development to ensure the training hours required by the state.
+ WKUCCC also expects teachers to engage in professional development to enhance their educational background and earn a CDA within two years.
