Teacher of Geography

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Geography lessons that engage, challenge and support all learners.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, provide feedback, and inform future teaching and learning.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs, abilities and backgrounds of all students.
• Contribute to student progress and wellbeing through tutoring, pastoral care and safeguarding.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance curriculum delivery and maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Passion for Geography and excellent subject knowledge.
• Ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their best.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusion and student success.
