Team Lead - Finance (Chihuahua)

This role will support the tax department by reporting compliance results and collecting sales tax documentation. Provide sales tax reporting and training to AutoZone’s Tax Team and translating that knowledge into instruction and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functionally collaborate with internal groups to advance tax efforts, including tax planning, tax compliance, tax audit, finance, and IT
• Maintain current automation processes and adjust as needed for changes in requirements
• Act as the primary sales and use tax contact to address technical issues related to sales and purchase transactions
• Consistently provide reporting to Sales Team management about missing documentation and sales tax compliance
• Work cross functionally with finance and other departments to improve the Sales Tax documentation process and controls
