Tech Lead / Head of Engineering (Ruby / Rails)

Please note: We are looking for someone that comes from a hands on dev background and is still able to know what good looks like as well as architecture etc - this is not purely a people management role

TrueNorth have been retained by a rapidly growing SAAS organisation who after significant growth and investment are looking for their first in house Head of Engineering / Tech Lead - you will report to the CEO and own Engineering for the organisation through their next phase of growth.

The successful candidate will be from a hands on background and still be close enough to to tech to know what good looks like and challenge the current way of thinking and engineering. You will also own architecture, the engineering roadmap, quality and be responsible for the growth of the in house engineering team.

This role is perfect for someone that thrives in the ambiguity of a fast growing scale up organisation.

Current ech stack is: Ruby, PostgresSQL, AWS, ...
