Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech performs specialized technical assistance to surgeons and surgical teams in a fast-paced surgical environment. They ensure the preparation, sterilization, and handling of surgical instruments and supplies to facilitate successful procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipatory care.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to safety standards to prevent infections.
• Monitor and assist with the handling of surgical specimens and instruments during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Restock and organize supplies post-operation to prepare for subsequent cases.
