Technical head - intermediate r&d (hands-on role)

We are building a fast, execution-driven R&D engine focused on API intermediates and specialty chemicals.
Responsibilities
· Develop API intermediates from basic and early-stage raw materials
· Execute and optimize lab-scale reactions and scale-up to pilot and plant level
· Deliver fast development cycles through structured experimentation (Do E) and disciplined weekly to monthly planning
· Take ownership from route selection → lab development → pilot → commercialization
· Improve yield, cost, and robustness of existing products through process optimization
Qualifications
- M. Sc. or Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry or a related field
- 10–20 years of relevant industry experience in process development and scale-up
Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in the development of API intermediates from early-stage raw materials (not limited to final API stages)
- Proven track record of having personally developed and executed multiple intermediates
