Technical Investigation & Excellence Manager

Key Responsibilities
Incident & Accident Investigations Lead investigations into major incidents, breakdowns, and near misses. Manage each case as a project-define scope, gather evidence, interview stakeholders, and deliver reports using tools like BowTie, TapRooT, and Five Whys. Ensure timely reporting and compliance with internal and external standards. Recommend corrective actions and track implementation across departments. Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement Analyze trends and recurring issues to proactively mitigate risks. Collaborate with Technical, Vetting, and L&D teams to embed lessons into training and operational practices. Update investigation procedures in line with IMO, OCIMF, and industry standards. Support development of a digital investigation framework. Training & Competency Development Work with L&D to integrate incident learnings into technical training.
