Technical Media Producer

Marquette, MI My UP News seeks a Technical Media Producer to work with our team around our broadcast and digital news products. Candidates should be prepared to take a collaborative leadership role in the broadcast production of our newscasts. The expectation is to learn and operate our newscast automation system which handles, cameras, graphics, audio and video. You would work with another Technical Media Producer on shift with the expectation that when your focus is not on the show, that you are assisting news with the creation of content through editing, writing, or otherwise helping with the production of the shows. We are looking for someone who can maintain calm and focused attention to detail during breaking news and other changes during a live broadcast.
