Technician (Boiler) (Kamunting Laundry & Incinerator Plant)

Job Description

• Responsible for day-to-day operation of the boiler & IETS and its equipment to ensure boiler & IETS is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and assist predictive maintenance activities to minimise unplanned shutdown.
• Key in and input all data and records related to boiler and IETS activities, documenting and updating them accordingly as per operational and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and prepare for DOSH/DOE regular and ad-hoc inspection of boiler to meet their requirements.
• Arrange and conduct housekeeping of boiler room and IETS as well as equipment to be in safe and good condition according to the work safety act and enable a conducive work environment.
• Troubleshoot any breakdown and carry out maintenance and rectification work and report any faulty related to boiler and IETS immediately to supervisor.
