Materials and Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory Technician
Your Role
- Reports to the Laboratory Manager.
- Comply with current safety standards.
- Receive deliveries and samples, and complete related documentation.
- Ensure the conformity of samples upon reception.
- Manage the storage and disposal of samples.
- Maintain the workspace, equipment, and a safe working environment.
- Perform laboratory tests on asphalt.
- Carry out calibrations of field and laboratory equipment.
About You
- DEC or AEC in Civil Engineering or Mineral Technology.
- Strong interest in working in a laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
- Good physical ability.
- Relevant experience related to the position, an asset.
- Possession of the ASP Construction card, an asset.
- Valid driver's license, an asset.
