Opportunity Description
Position Summary The Technologist Assistant provides direct care to patients and their families in a developmentally, culturally and ethically appropriate manner. The Tech. Asst. works under the direction of the Technologist, identifies patients, maintains clean/sterile working environment, complying with policies, processes and procedures. Often transports patients, directs outpatients, participates in data collection, prepares injectors and documents patient histories. Checks storage and routing of supplies each day. Confers with the manager to report problems relative to equipment, staffing and productivity. Actively involved in patient satisfaction scores, to ensure an excellent patient experience. Helps to create a work-safe environment. Must have good communication and phone skills. Works in a very robust, clinical setting.
