Radiology Technologist

Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians according to established standards and practices in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.

• - Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety method as requested by a licensed physician.

• - Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient.

• - Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.

• - Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.

• - Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.

• - Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
