What You Will DoThe Telecommunications Field Operations team under the Infrastructure Service Division Telecommunications Services (ISD-TS) Group is seeking an energetic and customer-focused telecommunication technician. This position will use your wide-ranging skills and experience to maintain all aspects of the traditional telecom fields and challenge you with new and exciting technologies to master. The ISD-TS team installs new copper analog lines, fiber optic and copper circuits, and maintains a site-wide copper and fiber plant within the 43 square mile telecommunications infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to hone your network skills in our robust VoIP environment, with daily Broadsoft and Cisco component interactions. This is a vital part of ensuring the laboratories success.This position will be filled at either the Telecommunications Field Operator 2/3, depending on the skills of the selected candidate.
