TELEVISION AND RADIO OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary:

Provide leadership in the management of three student-operated co-curricular media organizations for 600+ students within the Roy H. Park School of Communications: Ithaca College Television (ICTV), WICB-FM, online radio station VIC. As the advisor and general manager, you will: Coordinate television and radio programming and studio schedules; Mentor student producers, on-air talent, and managers;  Ensure efficient use of resources and high quality of programming that is publicly distributed; Work with faculty, staff, alumni, and other professionals with expertise in radio and television production and programming to provide training to students; Prepare and file license renewals for WICB-FM and maintain current knowledge of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and cable television regulations;  Advise students on appropriate underwriting, sales, promotion, publicity and fund-raising efforts; Oversee project and operating budgets and ensure compliance with Ithac...
