Opportunity Description
About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide support to households placed in temporary or emergency accommodation, maximise income, eradicate debt owed to HOST, protect vulnerable clients, ensure licence agreements and rent accounts are in place, and submit the necessary Housing Benefit claims.
The Temporary Accommodation Officer works alongside the Temporary Accommodation Move on Officer to develop move‑on pathways that reduce the time spent in temporary accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to households in temporary or emergency accommodation.
