Join Canadian Blood Services as a Temporary part-time Donor Centre Nurse in Vancouver, BC. Leverage your nursing skills to enhance the donor experience while collecting blood safely.
In this part-time role, you will be a vital member of the Collections team at the Vancouver-Oak St donor centre. You will conduct donor screenings, perform phlebotomy, and ensure accurate record-keeping, all while promoting a positive donor experience. You'll also provide coaching to staff and assist with mobile events in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture and monitor donor safety
• Guide donors through registration and screening processes
• Maintain accurate records in various systems
• Educate donors on blood donation procedures

• Active Registered Nurse license in BC
