2-month contract position with a local authority Summary This is a 2-month contract position with a local authority, aimed at delivering a comprehensive Special Educational Needs (SEN) service. The role is crucial in enabling the Local Authority to fulfill its statutory obligations under relevant legislation. It involves managing the assessment process for pupils with SEN, ensuring the timely and compliant production of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and securing suitable placements and provisions for pupils both within and outside the Local Authority. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of pupils undergoing statutory assessment and review processes. Ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice (2015), and SEND Regulations (2014).
