**Description**
SAIC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Test Engineer** to support planning, execution, direction, and reporting for experimental, developmental, and operational testing of advanced Navy capabilities. This role contributes to test activities conducted across Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), operational shipboard, and virtual environments, as applicable. The candidate will work with cross-functional technical and operational teams to help evaluate system performance, document results, identify issues, and support successful delivery of capabilities to fleet and mission stakeholders. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate test objectives, technical findings, and operational impacts across engineering, program leadership, and executive audiences.
**Work is performed ON-SITE in San Diego, CA. Required to be local to area. Travel required up to 10% (CONUS/OCONUS).**
